Rojo

Today is theme day, that the theme is "Something Red". Yesterday we were in the high country traveling with Rojo, and Ol' Blue, and it struck me that Red & Blue make Green. We saw a lot of green on that trip! Zoom in & check out the bottom of the windshield.

Rojo is a old CJ5 some friends own, that my Dad claims was driven off a boat at Normandy, but I think that may be stretching it by a couple of years :)

How unfair you have no comments yet on your theme day! I'll fix this right away...

I'll be with you on this Normady story, I really doubt there are still running material from that time (outside a museum I mean)!!

But who cares as long as it's red LOL.

Great photo. And what fabulous scenery not to mention the interesting
vehicles and story.

Beautiful rugged terrain! Are you trying to win the prize for the least amount of red ;)

Surprisingly, there are a few "CJ-1's&2's,still up and running. My brother-in-law, a Navy veteran of WW2, has a 1942 CJ which he still drives on his farm. He also flies a WW2 Aeronca reconaissance airplane, complete with battleship gray paint and Navy markings, from his grass runway on his farm. As a matter of fact, he flew over this morning. Thanks, Bill for keeping "Jeeps" alive. Love your stories.

I like the scene and the red jeep too.

Bill, when was the last time you mixed red and blue and actually got green?

Hmmm, I thought it was yellow and blue that make green. Doesn't really matter. You were in a very green wonderland and you couldn't get there except by mixing your red and blue jeeps.
