Yes Sir, Yes Sir, Three Bags Full

Ok, so they are not black......but while there are no “Sheep Crossing” signs in the area, it is best to stop when they go by!

Being a knitter, I should live nearby! Of course, I'd have to become a spinner too.

Grief! That is one HUGE herd of sheep Bill, but I guess small in relation to some of the others in your locality.

I Know I know another late post!

I once saw this sort of migration, with about the same amount of sheep with only one (1) dog controlling the crowd, he was (the dog) holding them in a straight line parallel to the edge of a 2 lane highway (Hwy46 west bound into Paso Robles,CA) with car after car and semi after semi going by atleast 65 to 70 mph, it made my heart jump as we aproached the scene going just as fast as the rest. this was the most amazing thing I have seen in a long time, this dog hunched down and just stared down these sheep, and danced back and forth in front of them, they didn't even dare to move, (good thing too, it would have been a real bad thing if they had entered the highway) as we were the last car in the pack to pass this crowd along this very lonely stretch of highway near "Lost Hills, CA" I could see in the rear view mirror the dog allowed them to finally cross, it was truely amazing!!!, the shepard was way in the back of the entire herd covered with dirt from head to toe, I can not even imagine how much dirt there must have been in that guys teeth : ))
