Happy Face #2

I am not sure if it is unique to America or not, but in the western US, there is a fairly active subculture doing what is commonly called “Chainsaw Art”. That is, they carve figures from logs, using chainsaws. Yesterday I was driving around, and found a park that was full of carvings. This week I am going to show you some of them, and I start with this pleasant fellow I have dubbed Happy Face #2 (Our friend from January 2nd gets the #1 designation). I could not keep from smiling when I first saw him, and I hope he does the same for you!

I don't see chainsaw art in Arkansas very much but it was all over the place in Wisconsin. This is a nice one.

We do have "Chainsaw Art". I do not know if that is a regular event or not but some years back I saw smiler on local TV show.

The our post titled "Holy Cow" is that I believe on of the result.

Oh, I like the detail of the sculpture, it is so skill full. And of course because of way you capture on the image.

Yes indeed, you brought a smile to my lips. I have seen quite a few chain-saw carvers in the forest areas of California.

Wow that's amazing. I've never seen chainsaw art before. But it's really impressive.
