All alone on the highway east of Delta sits this lone log home “factory”. I have stopped by a couple of times to get pricing information, but alas, no one is ever “home”.

Many people live in very densely populated cities, and get the impression that the world is completely over populated. I do a lot of long distance driving (can’t afford to fly the entire family), and am hear to tell you, the majority of this country is very lightly populated. There are exceptions of course. It takes a relatively long time to fly over the LA basin for instance, but the space is out there if you look!

Followup: We met with the owners of this firm this past Monday (they don't work weekends - good for them!), and toured some of their homes. They do very nice work, and we are considering a log home over a conventional. Decisions, decisions!
