Looking West from the summit of Loveland Pass, you can see the mountains above the Arapaho Basin ski area. As far as I know, it is the only one still open, and if the weather holds, it may stay open close to July 4th.

did not know that a-basin was on your route! Taking the scenic route?
Hard to think about snow sking on July 4th...water sking seems more the tradition of the holiday.
