You may recall an earlier post called "Tail Fins" that I posted on 9/26/06, or the series of hood ornaments I posted in 2007. Those shots came from the collection of one man, and in August, he he putting his entire collection up for auction. When he let me in the yard to photograph the hood ornaments, his passion for his collection was very evident. I suspect it will be a hard day for him.

That's sad. I wonder why? Maybe we'll have to check it out (not that we can afford it).
Whatever reason he had, I'm sure its a tough decision.
