Light Show

Last night, we were treated to a spectacular light show, as a massive lightning storm swung by to our west. I was heading out for a walk, but decided getting the camera out was a better idea. I think I was right!

Impressive photograph! I know how hard it is to catch a lightning!

Awesome shot. I heard recently that the action of lightening is important in promoting growth in grass and crops etc.

Very spectacular! It would be hard to get a photo like that around here, just too many trees and hills.

Wow! love this. I enjoy sitting on the porch and watching a thunderstorm. I wouldn't want to be hit by lightning but I really like to watch it.

I am so envious Bill, I've always wanted to capture a good lightening shot and never managed it. This is great!

p.s. I'm missing my mother too.

WOW. This is a photo I have longed to take and no longer have the opportunity in my home town of Greenville. We just don't have that many lighting storms. However, from growing up in Texas, I remember many just as your photo shows.

Wowie...masterful capture. I think you made the right choice to stay and photograph instead of getting a shock treatment.
