How long do you keep your tree up after Christmas?

The world as viewed from a resident of Delta Colorado, including one year of daily photos, followed by whatever else caught my eye! Delta is a small city which sits where the deserts of Utah give way to the Rocky Mountains.

Wonderful pic today Bill. I used to live in Evergreen Co. and drive to delta to visit my parents in law when they lived there. The area is lovely and the western slope is a great area we hope to visit again.
We are actually planning on taking our tree down today. We generally don't leave it up too long after Christmas. We have some extra motivation this year since I have some furniture for the room it is in being delivered early next week.
I think the tree will come downslowly over the next few days. Its artificial so dryness isn't an issue. It looks so pretty I hate to see it go. Besides I need to take a picture or two from both the inside and the outside. Since its our first Christmas here everything has a special feel to it.
Have a great weekend.

We normally take ours down on New Year's Day. Or maybe the day after. We have an artificial this year....and it was SOOOO much easier to deal with :)
It I had put up a tree this year I'm sure it would stay up till the middle of January or so. All that glistens must continue glistening until I have had my fill - and it would take about that long to fill me up.
