Greenland

This week I am in Virginia on business, and plan to cheat a little. I took over 500 pictures while in Europe, and am going to show you some of the off beat ones I like. This one was taken from the plane over Greenland on the return trip. I was not really expecting to see Greenland, so this was a treat!

Isn't it amazing how the earth looks from the air. You captured the curve of the earth so well. I loved crossing Greenland when I returned from Uzbekistan. I was just as excited as you and whipped out my trusty camera, leaned over my seat mate and shot.
Great picture.

O I loved Greenland -- only spent a few days there and a few hours ashore but they were wonderful hours.
