Flying Through Delta

This girl in this bronze statue on Main Street (taken a bit earlier this year) seems to be flying through town, but in fact she is flying on a bronze rope swing. Today is theme day, and today’s theme is: ”Taking a photo of a person from the waist down (like Bob do)”. I hope you enjoyed my contribution. To see what the rest of DP family is doing with this theme, check out the links below.

That's an unusual statue!

This photo makes me really happy for some reason. I'd image the rest of the statue looks quite exuberant!

I thought this was of a real child on a carnival ride until I read your explanation ... Nice composition with the flowers.

I really thought you'd taken a picture of one of your children on a swing. I'd love to see the sculpture whole now to see how they achieved such balance in a statue. Well done !

I too, thought those were real legs at first..and it seemed like an odd place for a swing set. Nice photo, and I'd love to see the whole statue sometime.

I do like your shot of the little girl on the swing. I love statues like that, always stop and look for a while when I come upon one.
