A blanket of White

Snow adorns the high country. The Elk Mountains have received their first blanket of white, and the trees are holding on to their color for a while longer. The Gunnison River continues its meanderings. The change of seasons is in full swing in this quiet community.

Do you have snow?
We have sunshine and about 27C.
My son is a snowboard lover and he is waiting for the new snows at about the end of Dec!

Delta does not get much snow, but all the mountains around here are white. Powerhorn Ski area is less than an hour away, and I can get into x-Country areas in about 30 min on Grand Mesa, so we are in a good place.

Hi Bill, I just found your blog site. You have some really great pictures and your phrasing in your comments is entertaining.
I found you through the Santiago de Chile Daily Photo site.
I will be back.

Nice pic. We don't see scenery like that here in Phoenix. Thanks for sharing.
