The Dobies are a very fun place to photograph, but they have a dark side. Remember, the Dobies are essentially mud hills, and when things warm up as they did this week, they show their true colors. This mighty warrior from 2/7 found out the hard way, and was brought down to size as a result.

Ah, it's not easy being a mighty warrior! Reminds me of my lappish dog. She was visibly humbled and embarrassed by this kind of treatment and most humiliating of all was that her otherwise curled tail hung like if she'd been a cow... :)
