One wonders if the Premium is worth the extra 20 cents? Perhaps I should take a trip out to the West Elks to see what their premium runs for.
Perhaps a trip to France may be in order ........

The world as viewed from a resident of Delta Colorado, including one year of daily photos, followed by whatever else caught my eye! Delta is a small city which sits where the deserts of Utah give way to the Rocky Mountains.

In case it makes you feel better, our petrol is roughly 1.20 euros/litre. Making it just about $4.80 a gallon...
I wonder what their champagne would cost?
I can't believe our gas is 2.54 gal. in the San Fran bay area. We are so close to major refineries but of course we don't get that gas. It goes else where.
Great humor in the Premium liquor sign. Wonder what Plus Liquor would be? Ha ha.
Soon the time will come when it'll be cheaper to run ours cars on Champagne !
In my experience Regular Liquor works just as well as premium.
Luckily our gas is some of the cheapest in the country, right now it is hovering around $2.00 a gallon and sometimes dipping below that.
Eeeeeks, at $4.80 a gallon, it would cost me $1.15 to move my motorhome one mile. I guess those prices would encourage scooter purchases!
And such precise prices, too. You know, Bill, there one place in NZ where you have friends, now.
Many have pondered the 9/10 of a cent thing and have suggested that you could really confuse some of the kids running gas stations if you went in asking for exactly 1 gallon of gas, insisting that you are not over or under charged!
I think the reason that gas is so expensive in Europe is because they tax the hell out it...not because the gasoline costs more. By contrast, we have a lot lower taxes on gas. Here in Georgia, we had the lowest priced gasoline in the U.S. (and I wonder if in the world) for years and years. Finally, or unfortunately, the state realized that and increased taxes a few years ago (right as the price began to rise anyway). The first ten years that I lived in Atlanta, I paid, .79 cents/gallon in the winter and about .84/gallon in the summer! Hard to believe now!
I think the state/fed taxes here about double the price. I guess you are telling me I should feel good about that :)
Gas is around $2.19 around here in central Florida. Cool shot.
What I don't understand is the constantly fluctuating price. One day its $2.49 and the next day its $2.69 and its the same gas in the tank both days.
This IS a humorous shot :)
et dire qu'en Janvier dans l'ile de france, le super va augmenter de 1euros17....
and statement that in January in the island of France, the super one will increase 1euros17….
I like this, very funny. The liquor part, not the cost of fuel.
