High a top Grand Mesa, at the end of a long dirt road, there is a place called Lands End, where the land basically..... ends. Actually it is the edge of Grand Mesa, and from this spot, you can look down a couple of thousand feet into the valley. However, if you turn around, and look back over the mesa, you realize how very large it really is. From what I understand, Grand Mesa is the largest flat top mountain in the world, so what you are looking at in this shot is not Nebraska, it is a mountain top!

The building was built by the CCC and currently servers as a visitors center of sorts, but I have only found it open once.
Reminds me of a song that has "I will shout it out from the Mountain Top" :-)
